[Updated Feb 2020] Complete Guide on How to Buy Bitcoins
Real online bitcoin casino philippines, real online
Bitcoin Gold (BTG) is an open-source, community-driven cryptocurrency. We share a codebase and blockchain history with Bitcoin, but bring mining power back to individuals by preventing ASICs from overpowering the hashpool. We're pro-Bitcoin and pro-crypto, and we're here for the long haul!
A small story about how I discovered r/BTC, and some stuff I want to say
So, when I first went back to the Crypto community back November 2019, I was rather, hesitant. I just finished verification of a mobile wallet with BTC support called Coins.ph and it made me curious on the crypto it allows: BTC, BCH, ETH, and XRP. I went and shuffled money around, and once my father gave his 0.01 BTC he mined (which I lost like a fraction because of Binance, seriously that place is weird), I decided to keep it to my centralized bank. Fast forward to February, the bear drop of BTC and most crypto was like a new chance for me. I can finally get something good! So I tried the faucets. Which lead me to finding that CoinPot has decreased withdrawal rates. Well... BCH entered my crypto portfolio through Bitcoin.com. I'm just a gullible person. Any shiny thing and I go for it the last second. When I learned that BCH is actually faster than BTC (had tested the speed by placing PHP 500 or more or less 0.05 BCH , I took PHP 1,000 and placed it on my account. It was a fool's attempt, since Philippines just struck quarantine, and I can't do anything about it. The fast confirmation speed pre-Halving sold it for me, and I thought, maybe I can hold it for a while? After testing Keys4Coins by buying a steam card, it was really just a few minutes of payment, then I realized that BCH (and pre 2017 BTC) is really peer-to-peer. Back in 2019 until today I was trying to mine XMR (failed to retrieve it after dumping all my BCH and dumping XMR back, showing less money). Back in 2017, just a few weeks before the split, I was trying hard to get enough satoshis to have on my Electrum-built wallet. Which is currently empty. Right now, I decided to cash out 0.05 BCH because money is needed right now, and my PC froze while I was trying to mine Zcoin. I also decided to try a semi-unused coin named BLUR after asking you guys about what to mine with GPU. It's not worth it, mining. Now, let's say some things I want to say lately.
BCH and BTC came from one blockchain and one whitepaper. BTC doesn't follow the whitepaper.
BCH is not yet fully adopted. I know because while we have other countries adopt it, crypto news have it, trolls are fighting against it, there is not even one news of all in the mainstream media.
The IFP is a sound plan, but it doesn't work in the long run. It looks like a forced donation to some whitelisted addresses, which, while might help Bitcoin ABC, will turn Bitcoin ABC into our own Blockstream. Money does that to people, don't push it.
For some reason, I met this guy who claims that Roger Vers owes him $100. Nice guy, knows the good faucets and stuff. He's making a forum that uses Satoshis by the way. Here's a link: Bitcoin Forums.
Also for some reason, BTC trolls have a perspective that BCH is made up of BCH maxis, shills, and idiots. Let their perspective be unchallenged, even if it means that you need to agree to disagree. After all, they are only defending BTC. Let them stick to latest news too, because people don't read old stuff.
I wonder what Satoshi is doing right now? He's probably just lurking in the crypto world, mining his own dev node, doing something new with cryptography... he probably oversaw all this.
BTC is gold bars. BCH is gold coins melted from gold bars sent around. BSV is some shit I don't even understand why they even made in the first place, lol
Bitcoin is not just the name of an revolutionary idea, it's now a name of the first crypto. I have a feeling we will receive less trolls if we stop claiming Bitcoin Cash is true Bitcoin, because in name, Bitcoin (Core) is.
I wonder what will happen if Bitcoin reaches $4,999...
tl:dr; I'm an idiot with cryptocurrency, and BCH is working fine, no need to see anything here, just bored and going insane on quarantine
Seven NWO Agendas accompanying the "Coronavirus Epidemic"
by Makia FreemanFebruary 20, 2020 fromTheFreedomArticlesWebsite Whatever you believe about the coronavirus epidemic, it is providing the chaos necessary for new (world) order. AT A GLANCE...THE STORY:While the debate continues as to the true count of infected people due to the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, several sinister agendas are being pushed out. THE IMPLICATIONS:Is the coronavirus an opportunity or excuse for the authorities to roll out long-desired schemes of control and manipulation? ------------------------------------------------------------- While the coronavirus 'epidemic' continues, with people debating on both sides whether it is being overplayed or underplayed, it is worthwhile pausing to consider what agendas - and I mean which NWO agendas - are being rolled out using the epidemic as a cover or pretext. As I covered in my last article The Coronavirus 5G Connection and Coverup, with these kind of outbreaks, there is always a dual motivation for authorities: the motivation to hype and the motivation to downplay because both approaches serve the ruling class in different ways. Deception is a hallmark of government, and clearly all the more so in an emergency, so it is always going to be hard to trust whatever news or stats are coming from official sources. Regardless of the virus' true origins and virulence, we can say for sure that there are several agendas being pushed as you read these words. It's the same old Hegelian dialectic strategy of problem-reaction-solution, and whatever the reality is on a microbial level, the world's population has the perception of a problem, so the ruling class has another opportunity to make their order out of chaos. Below are 5+ NWO agendas being carried out due to the coronavirus epidemic. 1. Centralized Control of Information, i.e. Censorship and Narrative ControlQuite a few of the speakers at the 'Event 201' simulation (hosted by the Johns Hopkins Center in partnership with World Economic Forum [WEF] and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) spoke of the need for the centralized control of information during a pandemic, including one speaker Lavan Thiru (described as a Monetary Authority of Singapore) who mentioned,
"a step up from the part of the government on enforcement actions against fake news."
There were some who said Big Tech is a no longer a platform but a broadcaster and must be made to combat fake news. Another speaker in typical fashion demonized conspiracy theories. Here is a quote directly from the simulation/make-believe event (which came true 6 weeks later):
"Disinformation and misinformation are wreaking havoc... pharmaceutical companies are being accused of introducing the... virus so they can make money on drugs and vaccines, and have seen public faith in their products plummet.
Unrest due to false rumors and divisive messaging is rising, and is exacerbating spread of the disease as levels of trust fall, and people stop cooperating with response efforts. This is a massive problem, one that threatens governments and trusted institutions.National governments are considering or have already implemented a range of interventions to combat misinformation. Some governments have taken control of national access to the internet; others are censoring websites and social media content, and a small number have shut down internet access completely to prevent the flow of misinformation. Penalties have been put in place for spreading harmful falsehoods, including arrests." The plan is to continue the censorship which Big Tech has been spearheading for years now, using the excuse of harmful "fake news" by claiming that the dissemination of false information during an emergency is a bigger problem than usual and must be stopped. Here are some other quotes from the event:
"I do think that there needs to be sort-of an honest broker, a centralized command-and-control organization that really brings together the public-private sector, both on a global approach and also on a local approach...""Yes, I agree, and I wanted to speak to the point about having the honest broker, and I think in this regard the United Nations fits the bill... ""It's important that the UN and WHO remain very clear, but when they challenge governments directly, they often get into this issue of sovereignty, and so I think it's really important not to have that as the only response... it's really critical to remember soft power influence..."
That last statement reveals yet again a dominant NWO agenda in so many arenas of life: narrative control. 2. The Cashless AgendaThe cashless agenda is a long-term NWO scheme that goes hand in hand with transhumanism, i.e. the digitization of everything in society, including things like money, information and life itself. Power-hungry control freaks - the types of people that gravitate towards government - love the idea of a cashless society because then every single economic transaction can be traced, which allows authorities to build an even more complete picture of who you are so as stop any possible disobedience or revolution before it happens. It also increases governmental revenue via taxation. As this article highlights, China has jumped on the opportunity to forward the cashless agenda by claiming that paper money must now be taken out of circulation due to the possibility that it could contain traces of COVID-19 and therefore contribute to the spreading of the coronavirus. 3. Martial Law QuarantinesGovernments love martial law scenarios, because normal human rights are suspended. Authoritarian China has been lauded by many globalists such as the late David Rockefeller as a model for theNew World Order. Some of the photos and videos coming out of China showing the police state there have been horrific. Another crisis, another opportunity for the government to see how much they can get away with under the banner of fighting the virus. 4. Mandatory VaccinationThe coronavirus 'epidemic' has provided a good excuse for governments round the world to introduce one of their favorite NWO agendas - mandatory vaccination. The reason why this agenda is particularly so well liked is that it allows authorities access to the human body - and not just the citizen's body, but his or her bloodstream too. truthfully, we have no idea what is in that needle when it gets injected, so all sorts of things could be implanted in our bodies without our knowledge or consent.
Coincidentally (or not), China passed a law on June 29th 2019 that rolled out a national mandatory vaccination program.
Coincidentally (or not), the law went into effect on December 1st 2019, just weeks before the coronavirus epidemic became a worldwide news story. Here is the article:
"On June 29, 2019, the National People's Congress Standing Committee of the People's Republic of China (PRC or China) adopted the PRC Law on Vaccine Administration (Vaccine Law).
The official Xinhua news agency states that the Law provides for the 'strictest' vaccine management with tough penalties in order to ensure the country's vaccine safety... The Law mandates the launching of a national vaccine electronic tracking platform that integrates tracking information throughout the whole process of vaccine production, distribution, and use to ensure all vaccine products can be tracked and verified (art. 10). According to the Law, China is to implement a state immunization program, and residents living within the territory of China are legally obligated to be vaccinated with immunization program vaccines, which are provided by the government free of charge. Local governments and parents or other guardians of children must ensure that children be vaccinated with the immunization program vaccines... The Law will take effect on December 1, 2019." I also have to wonder about the implications when we have so-called experts like Ralph Baric who are pointing out that this coronavirus epidemic may include asymptomatic carriers (as in this story of the 10-year-old Chinese boy who had no symptoms but allegedly tested positive for COVID-19). This may be helpful information, but it also adds fuel to the mandatory vaccine fire so to speak, because then the authorities claim that they have to vaccinate everyone to protect society due to all these possible hidden asymptomatic carriers that could pop up and infect everyone. By extension, mandatory vaccination may also include DNA vaccines and microchipping (see next). 5. Bill Gates' ID2020: Digital Identification via MicrochippingAs David Icke says,
if Bill Gates is involved in it, it's bad for humanity...
he was part of Event 201 that simulated the coronavirus epidemic before it happened he "didn't have any business relationship or friendship with" Jeffrey Epstein so now we have to ask how else this sold-out NWO frontman is benefiting from the virus Turns out the answer may be found in yet another globalist project Gates has been promoting:
This is the human microchipping agenda, repackaged. It sells itself as "a trusted and reliable way" to fulfill a "fundamental and universal human right" - safeguarding your identity both online and in the physical world. This article reports:
"The ID2020 Alliance, as it's being called, is a digital identity program that aims to 'leverage immunization' as a means of inserting tiny microchips into people's bodies.
In collaboration with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations, also known as GAVI, the government of Bangladesh and various other 'partners in government, academia, and humanitarian relief,' the ID2020 Alliance... wants all humans to be 'vaccinated' with digital tracking chips that will create a seamless monitoring system for the New World Order to manage the populations of the world with ease.""While the ID2020 program's testing grounds are primarily in the Third World, the group says it's also now working with governments here in the United States to start microchipping people through vaccination. In Austin, Texas, for example, the homeless population is now being exploited as a collective guinea pig for ID2020's microchip vaccination program, which the group claims will help to 'empower' homeless people by supposedly giving them 'control' over their personal identity data.'The City of Austin, ID2020, and several other partners are working together with homeless people and the service providers who engage with them to develop a blockchain-enabled digital identity platform called MyPass to empower homeless people with their own identity data,' writes Chris Burt for BiometricUpdate.com.ID2020 is also jabbing refugees with its microchip vaccinations through two inaugural pilot programs known as iRespond and Everest." Since Gates was obviously intimately involved in planning this outbreak and ensuring his companies have the patents and vaccines for the newly released virus, is he also planning on using the coronavirus epidemic to further promote ID2020? 6. Agenda 2030: Wuhan Slated to be one of China's Smart CitiesA massive agenda involved in the coronavirus epidemic is the agenda of all agenda - UN Agenda 2030, which involves Smart Cities. Guess what?
Before the outbreak China had already planned which of its cities were going to be the ones slated to become the pilot Smart Cities. Wuhan was one of them (which makes sense why it was also the site of China's 5G rollout as covered in a previous article).
"Wuhan Future City, located in eastern East Lake High-Tech Development Zone, is one of the four concentrated talent bases for major State-owned enterprises and the only 'future science and technology town' approved by the State Council for central and western regions."
**7. Is the Coronavirus Epidemic a Race-Based Bioweapon?**I don't know if I would exactly classify this as a NWO agenda, but a race-based bioweapon is certainly a likely possibility here. Consider that virtually all known deaths from the coronavirus epidemic thus far have been in China. Only around 4 deaths outside of China have been reported - 1 in the Philippines on February 1st, 1 in Japan on February 13th and 2 in Iran on February 20th. Lance Walton (VDare.com) has written several articles asking why no one is talking about it. He points out how WHO (World Health Organization) Director-General Tedros Ahanom Ghebreyesus declared that he opposed travel bans. ZeroHedge.com quoted him as saying that,
"We reiterate our call to all countries not to impose restrictions that unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade. Such restrictions can have the effect of increasing fear and stigma, with little public health benefit."
If the virus doesn't discriminate based on race, and just weakens or kills anyone, then the public health benefits of banning people would be great. However, if the virus does indeed discriminate on race, and only targets East Asians, then the WHO head's comments make sense. This raises yet more questions:
If the COVID-19 is a race-based bioweapon, who created it?The US?Israel? How did they sneak it into China and release it?
04-03 12:33 - 'Paul Le Roux' (self.Bitcoin) by /u/financeoptimum removed from /r/Bitcoin within 191-201min
''' Paul Le Roux is a fascinating character, whose story entails drugs, gold, arms dealing, North Koreans, Iranians, elite-level encryption, Somali pirates, women...and more women. Let's get into it... Part 1/5 - The Early Years Paul Le Roux was born on Christmas Eve, 1972, in Bulawayo, the second-largest city in what was then called—by the white minority that governed it, at least— Rhodesia. In 1980, Robert Mugabe became prime minister of what would now be called Zimbabwe, ending minority white rule in the country. Four years later, when Le Roux was 12, the family relocated to South Africa. Not long after the move, in exchange for washing his father’s car, Le Roux was given his first computer. After that, a relation of Le Roux states that he became "completely anti-social.” When Le Roux was 15 or 16, in the late 1980s, the local police raided the family home and arrested Paul for selling pornography. After that, Le Roux turned even more inward. Although he was an excellent student, he despised the idea of learning Afrikaans, which was compulsory in South African schools, describing it as "a dead language" that he "didn't want to learn." At 16, he dropped out of high school and decided to follow his interest in computers, taking a local programming course. Family lore has it that after he spent one class explaining some technical fact to the teacher, he got a letter saying he no longer needed to attend. He then completed a year’s worth of material in eight weeks! Accounts of Le Roux do indicate that he was exceptionally gifted, and people who worked with him described him as a genius. After returning from a family holiday to Disneyland in the US, 17-year-old Le Roux decided to leave South Africa, and departed for the UK eight months later to work as a programmer. He then moved from the UK to the US, where he lived in Virginia Beach. After six months in the US, he followed his then-girlfriend Michelle to Australia in 1995. The couple married and Le Roux acquired Australian citizenship. Le Roux frequented message boards and enjoyed trolling Australians. A typical post read: "All of Australia could disappear into the Pacific and the only difference it would make to the World is the Americans would have one less pussy country to protect." His posts caused outrage on the board - someone even changed their handle to fuck @ you.paul Le Roux would later declare that his correspondents had fallen for his ploy: "Australians are east to provoke and your postings (including 2 death threats, numerous flames, and one guy who swears he has my address & phone number) have provided me with hours of amusement." Of course, Le Roux did more than just troll Australian message boards in this period... Le Roux had started building E4M - Encryption for the Masses - in 1997, releasing it at the end of 1998. Part 2/5 - The Turning Point E4M allowed users to encrypt entire hard drives, and to conceal the existence of encrypted files (such that prying eyes wouldn't even know they were there). According to Le Roux, the software was written from scratch, with thousands of hours going into its development and testing. As well as this, in the [Politics section of the E4M website]1 , Le Roux published a sort of Manifesto, describing how "governments are increasingly relying on electronic data gathering" and how "Strong Encryption is the mechanism with which to combat these intrusions, preserve your rights, and guarantee your freedoms into the information age and beyond." In the spirit of the open-source software movement in the late 90s, Le Roux released E4M for free and made the code available for other people to improve. Therefore, with no income from his two years of labor, he was struggling financially. His marriage fell apart violently and the couple got divorced in 1999. Le Roux first relocated to Hong Kong, then to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. He married a Dutch citizen named Lilian, and they had a child shortly after. In 2000, in order to monetize E4M, Le Roux launched [SW Professionals]2 in 2000. Based in South Africa, the company offered offshore programming, including E4M customization. One of Le Roux's clients was an Italian telecoms engineer called Wilfried Hafner, who had corresponded with Le Roux for several years about E4M. Hafner had founded a company to create a commercial encryption product that would combine some of the elements of E4M with another piece of software, Scramdisk. The new company would be called SecurStar, and its product would be called DriveCrypt. Hafner hired Le Roux to build DriveCrypt's underlying engine. At the time, Le Roux was desperate for money - he drove a beat up car and worked out of a Rotterdam apartment small enough that, on the phone, Hafner could often hear a baby crying in the background. Hafner on the other hand was living in the South of France, and Le Roux openly coveted the kind of success that he imagined led to such a home. He told Hafner: "I am ambitious, I want to have all this." However, in the middle of the development work for DriveCrypt, Hafner discovered that Le Roux was still working on E4M and had incorporated some of his work for SecurStar into his personal project. As a result, Hafner terminated Le Roux's contract. By October 2002, SW Professionals was now defunct and Le Roux was openly soliciting for work on the alt.security.scramdisk forum. It was around this time that Le Roux received some news that "shattered his whole world." In 2002, he travelled to Zimbabwe to retrieve a copy of his birth certificate. On the trip, his aunt and uncle pulled him aside to tell him the truth, and it was then that Le Roux found out he was adopted. Although many family members had known for years, Le Roux’s parents had elected to keep him in the dark about it. It was the "unknown" part that hurt him the most. Shortly after, Le Roux appeared on an another set of message boards - he seemed to be launching some kind of moneymaking scheme that required opening a company based in the U.S. In 2004, a group of anonymous developers did exactly what Hafner had feared: they released a new and powerful, free file-encryption program, called TrueCrypt, built on the code for E4M. TrueCrypt combined security and convenience, giving users the ability to strongly encrypt files or entire disk drives while continuing to work with those files as they would a regular file on their computer. Hafner and his SecurStar colleagues suspected that Le Roux was part of the TrueCrypt collective but couldn't prove it. As we'll explore in Part 5, TrueCrypt is an interesting part of this story... Part 3/5 - Money and Power After Le Roux's departure from the encryption world, at least under his own name, he entered the Internet-pharmacy business. What Le Roux did next was combine two of America's favourite past times, popping pills and online shopping, and the results were sensational. He turned over around $300MM in 4 years. In 2007, Le Roux moved his family to Manila, where he would base his operations. He also had call centres in Israel. This was a brilliant move by Le Roux, as the authorities were not looking at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as hot-spots for a large-scale organised crime operation... Le Roux was moving serious volume during this time - his operation was once one of FedEx's largest customers. A relative of Le Roux pointed to 2008 or 2009 as the point at which Le Roux snapped. "I think the money got to him. I personally saw $100 million in his office in Makati. Cash, bud. It was fucking ridiculous. It was in wicker baskets lined up on the side of the wall in his office." Le Roux's appetite only grew, and not just in the literal sense (he was known as the "Fat Man" in the Philippines): he wanted to be a different kind of businessman, a lord of the real underworld, not just the virtual one. An Israeli associate of Le Roux tells how "Le Roux wanted to make more money, fast. Le Roux wanted to diversify, to be bigger. The only way to do that was illegal. He was living inside a movie, you could almost say." As well as this, Le Roux was notorious for his sexual exploits - he once wrote to his cousin, "15-20 a week, sometimes 3 per night." A former call centre employee tells how Le Roux approached him with an assignment, which at first he thought was collecting women for Le Roux to open a bar. However, that was not the reason, as Le Roux explained: "I'm going to impregnate them, and build an army of kids." Le Roux asked him to make a spreadsheet to track the women: their names, dress size, age, medical checkups. The operation was given top priority by Le Roux, who even sent his emissary to China to try to find women there. It is rumoured that Le Roux has at least 11 children to 7 different women! Le Roux's businesses expanded into logging, precious metals mining, gold smuggling, land deals, cocaine shipping, and arms dealing. These activities were spread across dozens of shell companies registered all over the world. Of course, he needed to launder the money. Le Roux used paid muscle in Hong Kong to swap cash for gold bars, and then proceeded to stash the gold in warehouses in Hong Kong (this totalled around $50MM). Speaking of paid muscle, Le Roux had plenty: ex-soldiers and mercenaries made sure any problems were dealt with force if necessary. Le Roux was closest to ex-British soldier Dave Smith, who would act as the leader of the mercenaries and allow Le Roux to insulate himself and not have to deal with people. In fact, Le Roux once told Smith "I live vicariously through you." However, things took a turn for the worse, at least from Dave Smith's perspective, as Smith stole $5MM worth of Gold from Le Roux. Le Roux was furious. He then summoned Smith to his place in the country, and asked him to dig a hole as they needed to stash some gold. However, when he arrived, he was greeted by a South African hit-man. After the hit-man had finished shooting Smith, Le Roux then grabbed the gun and fired into Smith's corpse. Le Roux then set about building an arms base in Somalia. To achieve this, Le Roux called upon an ex-soldier from Europe, code-named 'Jack' to work for him on the ground in Somalia. At sea, Jack had to bribe Somali pirates. It was actually this activity in Somalia that landed Le Roux on the radar of the DEA, as he popped up in a UN Report on security in Somalia. The DEA were now on his tail. Of course, his encryption skills came in handy - Le Roux's thick layers of encryption meant that the DEA needed someone on the inside... Part 4/5 - "Well played gentlemen, well played" Le Roux was getting more and more paranoid about people in his organisation stealing from him. Without justification, he suspected that his self proclaimed 'Golden Boy' Jack was stealing from him - so he ordered a hit on Jack. This was a huge mistake on Le Roux's part, as Jack then called a CIA hotline and went on the run. It was 18 months later that a DEA investigating Le Roux found Jack's message to the CIA. The DEA agent then called Jack. Scared for his life, Jack agreed to turn informant. In the meantime, Le Roux then had a change of heart and apologised to Jack for ordering the hit on him. The DEA then asked Le Roux to go back to work for Le Roux - they now had someone on the inside. To tempt Le Roux, the DEA devised a sting operation. They knew that Le Roux wanted novelty and excitement. So they fabricated the scenario that Jack had made contact with a high profile Colombian trafficker, and the Colombians wanted to bypass the Mexicans for their meth supply in the US. Le Roux was hooked. However, the DEA needed to lure Le Roux out of Manila, as his network of corrupt officials would ensure he will never be arrested. Jack needed to get Le Roux to Liberia (where the DEA had a trusted ally in Fombah Sirleaf, Head of Liberia's National Security Agency). Jack achieved this by saying that they needed to meet a cartel representative to finalise the deal. It worked, and Le Roux was arrested. Initially, Le Roux went into passive resistance - he was a big unit (hence the nickname "Fat Man") - and it took around 10 agents to get him on the plane to fly back to the US. Well he settled on the plane, the first thing Le Roux said to the DEA agents was: "Well played gentlemen, well played." He then said: "If you're looking at me, then clearly you're looking at bigger things..." The DEA agents were intrigued: "No Paul, you're the prize - what could possibly be bigger than you?" Le Roux responded: "Nation states gentlemen, nation states." He then started to spew out extremely valuable information on North Korea and Iran. Of course, this wasn't the only leverage Le Roux had... The enforcers who were once on Le Roux's payroll needed to be held accountable for their numerous murders, and the DEA were desperate to get them behind bars. Le Roux was key in their eventual capture. But that's not all: a crucial piece to this story is Part 5... Part 5/5 - TrueCrypt As we discussed previously, Le Roux was rumoured to be a member of the TrueCrypt collective. In November 2012, a man with the online handle Cincinnatus decided to throw a party in Hawaii. The idea arose out of an email exchange with Runa Sandvik, a developer and expert on the online software Tor, which allows its users to mask the physical location of their computers on the Internet. After she gave a Tor tutorial on Reddit, Cincinnatus sent Sandvik an encrypted message. Cincinnatus told Sandvik that he lived in Hawaii. Sandvik mentioned that she would be there on vacation the following month and could give a talk on Tor. Cincinnatus suggested they host a “cryptoparty,” a phenomenon that had arisen around that time among technology- and privacy-conscious activists. The date was set for December 11. Unbeknownst to Sandvik, her fellow party planner was hatching a much more elaborate education scheme. Four days after he contacted Sandvik, Cincinnatus sent an email to the journalist Glenn Greenwald. “The security of people’s communications is very important to me,” he wrote. In a series of emails, he suggested that Greenwald set up an encrypted means by which sources could contact him. Cincinnatus organized the cryptoparty at a hacker space called HiCapacity, located in the back of a furniture store in Honolulu. When Sandvik arrived around 6 p.m., Cincinnatus introduced himself as Ed and told her that he worked at the computer-hardware company Dell. Ed kicked off the evening by welcoming the attendees, then invited Sandvik to give her presentation on Tor. When she was finished, Ed pulled out his laptop, plugged it into the projector, and began his own instructional talk about TrueCrypt. In Ed’s presentation, Sandvik later wrote, he “pointed out that while the only known name associated with TrueCrypt is someone in the Czech Republic, TrueCrypt is one of the best open-source solutions available.” Six months later, in June 2013, Greenwald and filmmaker Laura Poitras published the first of a series of articles that grew out of their contact with Cincinnatus. In time they revealed that his full name was Edward Snowden, that he had worked in various capacities at the National Security Agency, and that he had downloaded and handed over a trove of documents from the NSA in an effort to blow the whistle on what he believed were egregious privacy encroachments by the U.S. government. Among them was a document revealing that TrueCrypt was one of a small number of encryption programs that had withstood the NSA’s efforts to crack it. What Snowden and the rest of the world wouldn’t know for another two years was that Paul Le Roux, the man whose code formed the foundation of True Crypt, was at that very moment in the custody of the U.S. government. Le Roux was in a bind, facing the full force of a U.S. federal prosecution for any number of his extraordinary array of crimes. The only way out was to spill his secrets... According to the official BNC public chain, they will be launching synchronous on 19th March globally in nine countries (China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and Brunei) and 30 communities. This cause strong attention within the industry, especially attention to value and ecology of Proof-of-Capacity (PoC) from blockchain experts. Website and forum in Europe, America and Southeast Asia have a hot pursuit of BNC, hundreds of media vying for coverage. At the same time, attention of BNC is rising because of Proof-of-Capacity (PoC) technology development have a worldwide boom. https://preview.redd.it/jcseqh15cem41.png?width=559&format=png&auto=webp&s=cef25e0877980f50d7c565eff679c502be62b163 Easy to say, nature of PoC is mining through hard disk, PoW is mining through CPU (or graphics cards, ASIC, these are stronger computing chips, PoS is mining through the proportion of cryptocurrency holdings, while DPoS is voting to decide super node. https://preview.redd.it/c2kwytw8cem41.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=169a41f4c4577049ea799b61a14827b2f29fc715 Our main character today PoC has something in common with Bitcoin PoW, but there are some substantive differences. As we know, Bitcoin PoW requires miners to perform hash calculations continuously and repeatedly. miners need to run their computing chips with high intensity and consume extremely high power resources. BNC will change the pyramid situation that BTC facing at present: The high monopoly of the big mining farm caused the increasing centralization of mines leading to monopolization of large households and national policy pressures. Large electricity consumption and noise and heat from mining machines do not meet environmental restrictions in more than 159 countries so the whole mining was ruled by the elite. As a result, ordinary users can't participate in BTC's decision-making at all. BNC's ultimate dream is to focus on the pain of the existing market, achieve low threshold entry mining for everyone! Everyone mining! https://preview.redd.it/r3rl26vbcem41.png?width=436&format=png&auto=webp&s=1c3d1377febf5993b1158c24a8f5a0c961f15d4a Computing power cost is also one of the important indexes of mining revenue. Computing power cost include competition for performance and equipment, mining machine's computing power determined the day's mining earnings. Quality of PoW machine depends on computing power, but the higher the power, the higher the price. The impact of a mining machine worth tens of thousands on the return cycle is also significant. The greater the computing power, the greater the energy consumption. Electricity consumption of mining is staggering, so mining farm have to relocate to low electricity fees area, but a lot of power is wasted. By comparison, power consumption of BNC hard disk is lower, energy consumption is the same as running a computer. https://preview.redd.it/psbezjjecem41.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=95c88aa9241d184a46fd1a3525bdf2183137614e After the industry goes through the bull bear cycle, heat and cold alternate reshuffle period, PoC hard disk mining direction effect will become more and more obvious. Failure to focus on compliance, lack of quality asset-selection capabilities, lack of technology build-up and business innovation capabilities will be difficult to survive. BNC cling to the front of the times, each time the layout is only for better brilliance. At a time when the mature Internet is combined with blockchain, BNC will create a new wave of wealth, bring more investors to believe that everyone can mining, every investor in cryptocurrency is back at the top of wealth. BNC strive to build PoC hard disk mining, creating unparalleled wealth myths. https://preview.redd.it/f8s7yuogcem41.png?width=531&format=png&auto=webp&s=92785eb07805d4b9f3970f8303eaae81943e7f6a BNC knows that innovation can drive development and create new brilliance. BNC lets you experience the explosion of POC hard disk mining mode! If you have a dream, come to BNC to make your digital assets truly valuable!

''' First they give you points then Compuceeds which you can trade for their (fake) bitcoin for doing stuff for them. Then they turn it into what they call Compumatrix.btc when you pay them more "bts" to "Claim" it to your DEX (personal exchange account) but then tell you you must convert it to real bitcoin using their TradeCeeds company. But Tradeceeds continues to make excuses about things like being blocked by Chinese exchange rules etc.. and have no real address or website. Just some "flunky" developers. To convert your coin you must qualify by buying some of their devalued crypto with your good bitcoin and bts (Bitshare's coin) to do it. Constant fees and stalling because of Beta testing, typhoons in the Philippines and numerous other upgrade and Bitshares update delays has put the few thousand members into silent crazy mode. Mad or not they only answer the questions they want to with files of "How tos" and have brainwashed staff running the chats who threaten to kick you out if you get to inquisative and if you misbehave they will bad mouth you and threaten to kick you out. And that's just the overview and doesn't cover the multiple times they already have promised things like store items for ridiculous prices at the beginning which most people lost their shipping charges, Bitcoin “Fork” earnings, 5 to 1 deals which they stole millions of our crypto and never paid back, investment money in shares of the company, Christmas bitcoin Blessings they promised but oh they can't send you money, bitcoin or anything but wait you can send them money, Trigger Smart contract deals which you had to buy their BTCPLUS coins by the hundreds which supposedly give returns of millions of dollars, etc.. Ask any member if they (in over 15 years) have ever withdrawn anything to fiat that would put bread on your table and now after they have driven the coin values down to pennies they say we can't withdraw until their values go up to what the outside exchanges have! From top to bottom are David Morris - President, Henry J. Banayat - Founder and Head Developer in the Philippines, Gail Storm VP, Erline Martin COO and dozens of Regional Reps all over the world. There is a remote office now in Las Vegas and another somewhere in Iowa but they have not given its exact location or address. Pass the word about these guys and their scamming Bitshares Ecosystem. Henry the Scammer, their God and all his followers are nothing but common criminals using a new Bitshares Blockchain application to rip off thousands of people ! Don't be fooled and join this so called business. Ask any member if what I say here is not true! Now how do they get away with this? First the Bitshares system allows them to monitor and control your Exchange account thru permissions and [Crytofresh.com]1 and their own application "Portal" now called your CDAP. Also thru their Discord chat and forums. No staff give out their real names or contact information either. So as they recruit and ask you to recruit there is no way anyone can get paid and its all so they can take your real bitcoin and bits! The BBB and FBI need to be alerted on these guys if they haven't been already to see how they continue to use the excuse that they are building a business and its ok for them to do it off the backs of thousands of people! Imagine if there was one desk that all stories could cross so that, at 4am, a media plan could be decided upon and disseminated where all news outlets coordinated to set the goalposts of debate and hyper focused on specific issues to drive a narrative to control how you vote and how you spend money; where Internet shills were given marching orders in tandem to what was shown on television, printed in newspapers and spread throughout articles on the World Wide Web. https://i.imgur.com/Elnci0M.png In the past, we had Operation Mockingbird, where the program was supremely confident that it could control stories around the world, even in instructions to cover up any story about a possible “Yeti” sighting, should it turn out they were real. https://i.imgur.com/121LXqy.png If, in 1959, the government was confident in its ability to control a story about a Yeti, then what is their level of confidence in controlling stories, today? https://i.imgur.com/jQFVYew.png https://i.imgur.com/ZKMYGJj.png In fact, we have a recent example of a situation similar to the Yeti. When Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met on the TARMAC to spike the Hillary email investigation, the FBI was so confident it wasn’t them, that their entire focus was finding the leaker, starting with searching within the local PD. We have documentation that demonstrates the state of mind of the confidence the upper levels of the FBI have when dealing with the media. https://i.imgur.com/IbjDOkI.png https://i.imgur.com/NH86ozU.png The marriage between mainstream media and government is a literal one and this arrangement is perfectly legal. https://i.imgur.com/OAd4vpf.png But, this problem extends far beyond politics; the private sector, the scientific community, even advice forums are shilled heavily. People are paid to cause anxiety, recommend people break up and otherwise sow depression and nervousness. This is due to a correlating force that employs “systems psychodynamics”, focusing on “tension centered” strategies to create “organizational paradoxes” by targeting people’s basic assumptions about the world around them to create division and provide distraction. https://i.imgur.com/6OEWYFN.png https://i.imgur.com/iG4sdD4.png https://i.imgur.com/e89Rx6B.png https://i.imgur.com/uotm9Cg.png https://i.imgur.com/74wt9tD.png In this day and age, it is even easier to manage these concepts and push a controlled narrative from a central figure than it has ever been. Allen & Co is a “boutique investment firm” that managed the merger between Disney and Fox and operates as an overseeing force for nearly all media and Internet shill armies, while having it’s fingers in sports, social media, video games, health insurance, etc. https://i.imgur.com/zlpBh3c.png https://i.imgur.com/e5ZvFFJ.png Former director of the CIA and Paul Brennan’s former superior George Tenet, holds the reigns of Allen & Co. The cast of characters involves a lot of the usual suspects. https://i.imgur.com/3OlrX7G.png
In 1973, Allen & Company bought a stake in Columbia Pictures. When the business was sold in 1982 to Coca-Cola, it netted a significant profit. Since then, Herbert Allen, Jr. has had a place on Coca-Cola's board of directors. Since its founding in 1982, the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference has regularly drawn high-profile attendees such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch, Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Johnson, Andy Grove, Richard Parsons, and Donald Keough. Allen & Co. was one of ten underwriters for the Google initial public offering in 2004. In 2007, Allen was sole advisor to Activision in its $18 billion merger with Vivendi Games. In 2011, the New York Mets hired Allen & Co. to sell a minority stake of the team. That deal later fell apart. In November 2013, Allen & Co. was one of seven underwriters on the initial public offering of Twitter. Allen & Co. was the adviser of Facebook in its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp in February 2014. In 2015, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Time Warner in its $80 billion 2015 merger with Charter Communications, AOL in its acquisition by Verizon, Centene Corporation in its $6.8 billion acquisition of Health Net, and eBay in its separation from PayPal. In 2016, Allen & Co was the lead advisor to Time Warner in its $108 billion acquisition by AT&T, LinkedIn for its merger talks with Microsoft, Walmart in its $3.3 billion purchase of Jet.com, and Verizon in its $4.8 billion acquisition of Yahoo!. In 2017, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Chewy.com in PetSmart’s $3.35 billion purchase of the online retailer.
Previous conference guests have included Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren and Susan Buffett, Tony Blair, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Allen alumnus and former Philippine Senator Mar Roxas, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Quicken Loans Founder & Chairman Dan Gilbert, Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang, financier George Soros, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, eBay CEO Meg Whitman, BET founder Robert Johnson, Time Warner Chairman Richard Parsons, Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight, Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell, NBA player LeBron James, Professor and Entrepreneur Sebastian Thrun, Governor Chris Christie, entertainer Dan Chandler, Katharine Graham of The Washington Post, Diane Sawyer, InterActiveCorp Chairman Barry Diller, Linkedin co-founder Reid Hoffman, entrepreneur Wences Casares, EXOR and FCA Chairman John Elkann, Sandro Salsano from Salsano Group, and Washington Post CEO Donald E. Graham, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and Oprah Winfrey.
https://i.imgur.com/VZ0OtFa.png George Tenet, with the reigns of Allen & Co in his hands, is able to single-handedly steer the entire Mockingbird apparatus from cable television to video games to Internet shills from a singular location determining the spectrum of allowable debate. Not only are they able to target people’s conscious psychology, they can target people’s endocrine systems with food and pornography; where people are unaware, on a conscious level, of how their moods and behavior are being manipulated. https://i.imgur.com/mA3MzTB.png
"The problem with George Tenet is that he doesn't seem to care to get his facts straight. He is not meticulous. He is willing to make up stories that suit his purposes and to suppress information that does not." "Sadly but fittingly, 'At the Center of the Storm' is likely to remind us that sometimes what lies at the center of a storm is a deafening silence."
https://i.imgur.com/YHMJnnP.png Tenet joined President-elect Bill Clinton's national security transition team in November 1992. Clinton appointed Tenet Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council, where he served from 1993 to 1995. Tenet was appointed Deputy Director of Central Intelligence in July 1995. Tenet held the position as the DCI from July 1997 to July 2004. Citing "personal reasons," Tenet submitted his resignation to President Bush on June 3, 2004. Tenet said his resignation "was a personal decision and had only one basis—in fact, the well-being of my wonderful family—nothing more and nothing less. In February 2008, he became a managing director at investment bank Allen & Company. https://i.imgur.com/JnGHqOS.png We have the documentation that demonstrates what these people could possibly be doing with all of these tools of manipulation at their fingertips. The term for it is “covert political action” for which all media put before your eyes is used to serve as a veneer… a reality TV show facade of a darker modus operandum. https://i.imgur.com/vZC4D29.png https://www.cia.gov/library/center-for-the-study-of-intelligence/kent-csi/vol36no3/html/v36i3a05p_0001.htm
It is now clear that we are facing an implacable enemy whose avowed objective is world domination by whatever means and at whatever costs. There are no rules in such a game. Hitherto acceptable norms of human conduct do not apply. If the US is to survive, longstanding American concepts of "fair play" must be reconsidered. We must develop effective espionage and counterespionage services and must learn to subvert, sabotage and destroy our enemies by more clever, more sophisticated means than those used against us. It may become necessary that the American people be made acquainted with, understand and support this fundamentally repugnant philosophy.
Intelligence historian Jeffrey T. Richelson says the S.A. has covered a variety of missions. The group, which recently was reorganized, has had about 200 officers, divided among several groups: the Special Operations Group; the Foreign Training Group, which trains foreign police and intelligence officers; the Propaganda and Political Action Group, which handles disinformation; the Computer Operations Group, which handles information warfare; and the Proprietary Management Staff, which manages whatever companies the CIA sets up as covers for the S.A.
…Those operations we inaugurated in the years 1955-7 are still secret, but, for present purposes, I can say all that’s worth saying about them in a few sentences – after, that is, I offer these few words of wisdom. The ‘perfect’ political action operation is, by definition, uneventful. Nothing ‘happens’ in it. It is a continuing arrangement, neither a process nor a series of actions proceeding at a starting point and ending with a conclusion.
CIA FBI NSA Personnel Active in Scientology: https://i.imgur.com/acu2Eti.png When you consider the number of forces that can be contained within a single “political action group” in the form on a “boutique investment firm,” where all sides of political arguments are predetermined by a selected group of actors who have been planted, compromised or leveraged in some way in order to control the way they spin their message. https://i.imgur.com/tU4MD4S.png The evidence of this coordinated effort is overwhelming and the “consensus” that you see on TV, in sports, in Hollywood, in the news and on the Internet is fabricated.
Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.' Thus the uninformed reader will most likely develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
When you find yourself feeling like common sense and common courtesy aren’t as common as they ought to be, it is because there is a massive psychological operation controlled from the top down to ensure that as many people as possible are caught in a “tension based” mental loop that is inflicted on them by people acting with purpose to achieve goals that are not in the interest of the general population, but a method of operating in secret and corrupt manner without consequences. Notice that Jeffrey Katzenberg, of Disney, who is intertwined with Allen & Co funds the Young Turks. He is the perfect example of the relationship between media and politics.
Katzenberg has also been involved in politics. With his active support of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, he was called "one of Hollywood's premier political kingmakers and one of the Democratic Party's top national fundraisers."
Last week, former DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg’s new mobile entertainment company WndrCo was part of a $20 million funding round in TYT Network, which oversees 30 news and commentary shows covering politics, pop culture, sports and more. This includes the flagship “The Young Turks” program that streams live on YouTube every day. Other investors in the round included venture capital firms Greycroft Partners, E.ventures and 3L Capital, which led the round. This brings total funding for Young Turks to $24 million.
Hollywood activism long has been depicted as a club controlled by a handful of powerful white men: Katzenberg, Spielberg, Lear, David Geffen, Haim Saban and Bob Iger are the names most often mentioned. But a new generation of power brokers is ascendant, including J.J. Abrams and his wife, Katie McGrath, cited for their personal donations and bundling skills; Shonda Rhimes, who held a get-out-the-vote rally at USC's Galen Center on Sept. 28 that drew 10,000 people; CAA's Darnell Strom, who has hosted events for Nevada congresswoman Jacky Rosen and Arizona congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema; and former Spotify executive Troy Carter, who held three fundraisers for Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous (Carter also was a fundraiser for President Obama).
Viacom, after splitting off from Les Moonves Les Moonves ' CBS , still holds Paramount Pictures, and that movie studio in December agreed to acquire DreamWorks SKG, the creative shop founded by the Hollywood triumvirate of Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg (a former exec at The Walt Disney Co.). DreamWorks Animation had been spun off into a separate company. Now it's time for Freston to make back some money--and who better to do a little business with than George Soros? The billionaire financier leads a consortium of Soros Strategic Partners LP and Dune Entertainment II LLC, which together are buying the DreamWorks library--a collection of 59 flicks, including Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, and American Beauty.
Follow-up about the guy that was owed 330 btc on CloudBet
TL;DR:- I have been following this case closely because I was curious about it and finally it's resolved! The guy is from the US. And for the record speaks PERFECT English, lol. When CloudBet asked him for his ID, he got scared and tried to manipulate the situation to hide the fact that he is breaking the Terms of Service, so he ended up sending a fake ID of someone from the Philippines in fear of not getting paid out. Eventually, he admitted his mistake, sent in his real ID, then got paid the entire 330 btc, which was not only his initial deposit(s), but also his winnings. I guess CloudBet paid both instead of voiding all his bets like they usually do in such cases because the case went viral, kind of? I am not sure, but they also signed a message from a wallet that holds 1157 btc so they are definitely trying to prove something to the community here.
Hi all, There has been some discontent in the forums and we would like to take this opportunity to clear a few issues up. Firstly, please be reminded that Cloudbet does NOT accept any USA players. USA players are blocked from registering accounts, and are blocked from making bets. If any player from USA attempts to make an account, they see a message saying USA players are prohibited and are not able to sign up. To reiterate, players from USA are NOT allowed on Cloudbet. If we have strong reason to believe that a player has deliberately and willingly circumvented our terms of service by connecting from USA (or another restricted territory), we freeze their account while we conduct an investigation, and ask the player to provide documentation on their residency. Please note that this is only when we strongly suspect that a player has connected from USA, ie, there is specific evidence to suggest this. In most cases, the player is cooperative and provides us with accurate documentation about their account and residency. If they are a USA resident, we close their account permanently, and return their account balance. This has been the case with several vocal users in the forum. Sometimes this can take some time, as every case is slightly different, but is always resolved eventually provided the player furnishes us with accurate information. If they are connecting from a non-restricted country, we reopen their account and they can resume using their account without limitation. Please note that in all cases where the player has cooperated, they have received their entire account balance, and had their accounts closed only if they were connecting from a prohibited jurisdiction (or there was a separate unrelated issue). If any forum members in this situation would come forward and confirm receipt of their account balances in full, this would be appreciated. However - on rare occasions, the player is NOT cooperative and provides us with deliberately falsified or fraudulent information. In these cases, our investigations are significantly more complicated and time consuming. There is one specific case that has received a lot of attention from the community - Swofty - as the dollar amount is particularly large. Here is our comment on the case: As we have a duty of privacy to all of our players, we are limited in what we can share. The player may have shared some details, but we are not able to share any specifics or personal data. That said, we can share definitively that the player has knowingly and deliberately provided untruthful, falsified and fraudulent information to both Cloudbet and the community. The account holder is NOT the person that he/she states it is, nor are they in the location they state. The player also knowingly and deliberately circumvented our terms of service by connecting from a prohibited jurisdiction. The reason the player has not been paid yet is entirely to do with them circumventing our terms of service and providing falsified and fraudulent information, and nothing to do with our bitcoin liquidity (more on that below). As the customer provided us with definitively falsified information, we suggested they reach out to Curacao Egaming - with whom we hold a licence - for assistance. This is the correct escalation for any player issues. We intend to resolve this issue in a manner completely fair to everyone once we receive truthful and accurate information from the player. It appears as if the player is now cooperating, so we hope to have a resolution to this case soon. We have been encouraged by the way the community has responded to rally behind the player and help hold Cloudbet accountable, however in this case the player has not been truthful with the community. We encourage the player to share a more accurate story. Separately, concerns have been raised about Cloudbet's ability to service the player's withdrawal immediately. You needn’t be concerned - we hold enough funds to cover all of our player balances several times over, and we would never accept a bet that we could not pay in full immediately. We have been around since 2013 and have always celebrated our largest winners, and paid extremely promptly. We would like to address this in the way requested by the community -- a signed message from a wallet that holds sufficient funds to cover any liabilities that may be due to this player. We have signed a message from a wallet holding ~1157 BTC. All outputs spent to this wallet are from wallets that belong to us, and had not moved in over a year (we sent them to a single wallet for the purpose of this exercise) so they are not newly acquired coins. We would be happy to sign another message from any of the source wallets to prove ownership if required. Wallet: 16vk7DahVgj4VsfKKdr1pG3QJ9FvzXpdJN Message: cloudbet.com // no USA players allowed Signature: HxO5QwkA/UNVePahBUzYgWL4Zz5syTC1H6/LeHICsvW0MYG9Q+PgOjNbzVXgXsLbadzFO2wLlz25nsbaXkeTXo4= You can verify the above message in your bitcoin client, or by using the web interface here I hope that addresses the community's immediate concerns. If anybody has any further questions or follow-up, please feel free to contact us directly via our support channels, or post a reply in this thread and we will do our best to address them in a timely manner. Once more, to reiterate, Cloudbet does NOT accept USA players. Thanks for your continued support, patience, and diligence. The Cloudbet Team
Hello everyone, Ronnie is correct in what he is saying, the delay is entirely my fault. I am from the USA and I didn't even worry about my location or withdrawing bitcoin until I got an email from them asking for my ID and things like that. At that point, I got very scared. I went from really excited about my winnings to very, very scared I wouldn't get any. I have a good online friend in the Phillipines and I asked for help. I had him give his documents and ID that said the account was from the Phillipines. This was a mistake. As of right now, I have sent cloudbet my real credentials (ID, etc) to cloudbet and they know who I am. I want everyone, including cloudbet, to know that nothing I did was meant to manipulate or mislead cloudbet in anyway. All my wagers were made in good faith and I won them fair and square. I should have been upfront about my situation from the start and this situation would have gone much more smoothly. I can also say that even though a resolution to this issue has not been come up with yet Ronnie is correct in saying we have recently been in touch and we are making progress on coming up with a solution. I have to say I am thankful for cloudbet being reasonable about my situation especially considering my misleading them about my location. I am very, very hopeful we will come to a conclusion soon. I will keep everybody here updated when this is all over. Thanks for listening. Swofty

In case you missed it: Major Crypto and Blockchain News from the week ending 12/14/2018
Developments in Financial Services
A cryptocurrency exchange-traded product (ETP) that trades on Switzerland’s Six Exchange saw record trading volumes on Thursday and Friday last week, suggesting that institutional investors may be buying the dip in cryptocurrencies. Four major cryptocurrencies underlie the HODL ETP, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). While HODL ETP’s one-month average daily trading is 20,000 shares, on Thursday, December 6th, and Friday, December 7th, 53,233 shares and 62.986 shares were traded, respectively.
A report published last week by global anti-money laundering policymaker, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), indicates that cryptocurrency exchanges in the United Kingdom pose a, “low risk,” for money laundering and terrorist financing activities. The report, however, does highlight that such activities on UK cryptocurrency exchanges are an, “emerging risk,” although there is not yet enough evidence to suggest that these activities are occurring through cryptocurrency exchanges. In its report, the FATF urged UK regulators to, “Continue to develop an understanding of emerging risks (such as virtual currencies) and intelligence gaps, and take appropriate action.”
Andreas Utermann, CEO and CIO of Allianz Global Investors, called on global financial regulators to ban cryptocurrencies while speaking at a panel discussion in London. According to a report by Reuters, Utermann said, “You should outlaw it,” while participating in a panel alongside Andrew Bailey, the head of Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority. Bailey responded by saying that Utermann’s comments were, “quite strong,” before adding that cryptocurrencies have, “no intrinsic value.”
Basis, a major US-based stablecoin project, is shutting down its operations and returning most of its funds to investors, according to a report by crypto news outlet The Block. The report by The Block cited, “multiple people with direct knowledge of the situation,” in claiming that the algorithmic stablecoin project, which generated UDS$133mm of funding through private investments in April, will return funds to investors. According to the Co-Founder and CEO of competing stablecoin project Nevin Freeman, Basis’ shutdown is due to regulatory concerns around one of its token types. Freeman explained, highlighting that algorithmic stablecoins implement a “secondary token”, known as a “bond token”, to help maintain the primary token’s peg. In many cases, regulators like the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) consider these secondary tokens to be securities.
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by daily trading volume, announced that it has added Circle’s US dollar-pegged stablecoin, USD Coin (USDC), to its combined Stablecoin Market. Circle, a company backed by Goldman Sachs, first released its stablecoin in September of this year. Binance’s combined Stablecoin Market features other notable stablecoins, like Tether (USDT), that trade against cryptocurrencies as interchangeable base pairs.
Coinone, a South Korea-based cryptocurrency exchange, has officially launched Cross, a cross-border payments application that leverages Ripple’s xCurrent product to increase efficiencies. The application, released by Coinone’s payments subsidiary, Coinone Transfer, targets unbanked or underbanked South Koreans by enabling the transfer of funds to Thailand or the Philippines at a low cost.
Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange heralded by the Winklevoss twins, released an official company blog post this weekend announcing that the firm will support Bitcoin Cash (BCH) custody and trading. The exchange will support only the Bitcoin Cash ABC network at this time, adding that they, “are continuing to evaluate Bitcoin SV over the coming weeks or months, and we may or may not choose to support withdrawals and/or trading of Bitcoin SV in the future.” Additionally, the company detailed that its listing of BCH is pending regulatory approval by the New York State Department of Financial Services.
Gemini, the cryptocurrency trading platform founded by the Winklevoss twins, announced the launch of a mobile crypto trading application in an official blog post today. Accompanying the launch of the crypto trading app is a new investment vehicle, dubbed, “The Cryptoverse,” that is comprised of a basket of cryptocurrencies weighted by market capitalization. While speaking to Bloomberg today, Cameron Winklevoss said that, “A lot of our decisions have perhaps given off a perception that we’re more institutional-based. The reality of the situation is that we have a diverse customer base. And the retail story is just beginning.” The Winklevoss twins went on to detail of a goal to expand reach to Asian markets by 2019’s end.
Good Money, a US neo-banking platform, has closed its Series A investment round that generated USD$30mm led by cryptocurrency-focused merchant bank Galaxy Digital and the founder of EOS (EOS) Block.one. Good Money aims to provide a variety of banking service and certain financial instruments to US account holders while exploring innovative changes to traditional banking practices. “Modern banking is a primary driver of so many issues we as a society face – from economic inequality, institutional racism, environmental destruction to political corruption,” said Good Money founder Gunnar Lovelace. Specifically, Good Money eliminates ATM fees while offering each bank user equity in the company.

I'm nearly 100% sure this is the wrong subreddit but I looked and don't see a "US Tax" forum so, please point me in the right direction. On the off chance this is the correct place: I am moving to the Philippines in Nov. When I move there I plan on having several sources of income: a) renting my home in the US - actually, my friend will be staying in the 4th bedroom for free and in exchange he will manage my three Airbnb rooms which should pay for the home b) online tutoring and Bitcoin consulting, I could run this as US income or PH income, I'll take your guidance on that c) buying/renting a few condos in PH and listing them on Airbnb... trying for a "US Expat-run PH experience"... kinda a "built in tour guide" if you stay with me d) remote work for my company I sold in January, which will be US income e) payments from the sales of my old company, which will be US income Anyway, I'll have three definite sources of income from the US, one source from PH and one that (I think) I can make PH or US income since it's all online. How will this work tax-wise? I'm not asking "how do I file in PH?" I know I will and the "boots on the ground" work I can accomplish... I'm wondering about the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, the housing exclusion, etc... can anyone shed some light on how these work for my situation?
The crypto community is just not a friendly bunch; We like playing the guard at the gate
There’s a contradiction at the heart of Asia’s cryptocurrency community that few people have acknowledged, much less addressed: While cryptocurrency enthusiasts want digital currencies to succeed, their behavior toward beginners — the people needed for any coin to reach critical mass and adoption — is generally apathetic, if not outright hostile. You can witness this gate-keeping on any online forum, first-hand if you so dare. Pose any question that a beginner might ask — such as where you can buy Bitcoin, whether X coin is a sound investment, or how to safely store your digital currencies — and you’re sure to receive an avalanche of answers, most unhelpful and many sarcastic. Some might argue that such a response is well-deserved, since the vast majority of these inquiries can be answered with a simple Google search. But the same could be said of any intro-level questions related to most tech fields, and many of them still boast of online boards, forums, and communities that are beginner-friendly, as experts understand that many novices like getting information directly from trusted peers rather than search results. There is thus no other way to put it: The crypto community is just not a friendly bunch. We like playing the guard at the gate. Gatekeeping is crypto is problematic because the tech still has such a long way to go. To this end, a study by Invest in Blockchain found that 64% of cryptocurrency projects do not have a working product, while less than 1% of people in the world own any cryptocurrency. Crypto, in short, is at this stage more still an idea than it is an actual innovation. For companies to succeed in creating viable coins and crypto products, and for consumers to use and adopt them, the community, as it stands now, needs to change its orientation toward beginners. We need to be more welcoming toward anyone who has an interest in crypto, operating under the understanding that people who have little-to-no understanding now may grow to become key stakeholders. The developers new to blockchain and crypto tech may one day create an important industry innovation. The consumers who want to invest in a digital currency today may one day be the largest backer of another coin in the future. The individuals still learning how to store their coins now may one day be important power users and ambassadors tomorrow. And even more important than the individual contributions that newcomers will inevitably make, as a whole, a rapidly growing community will show that crypto will indeed change the world. Also read:For crypto and blockchain to get mainstream appeal, we need to look beyond our own closed communities A community, of course, cannot change overnight. How we act, speak, and teach beginners — or “newbs” as they are still often disparagingly referred to — is deeply ingrained. What we can do now is take the time to introduce anyone in our own personal social network with an interest in crypto through a virtual and real-world tour of its imprint in Asia. This ask is at least easier than helping strangers online, as we have an immediate connection and a vested interest in winning them over. It would be akin to a Googler showing a friend around the Googleplex in Mountain View: You want them to believe. Fortunately, Asia’s cryptocurrency community is thriving: There are many successes you can point to in order to orient an interested friend and persuade them to actively participate in the community. For starters, you can help them open a digital wallet and purchase crypto, choosing from the numerous reputable providers and marketplaces there are in Asia, such as ANXPRO (Hong Kong), Coinhako (Singapore), BitoEx (Taiwan), BitBit (Philippines), Bitcoin Cambodia, and many others. After you help them purchase their first crypto, you can take a step back – much like how the first imperative of the aspiring filmmaker is to hear director commentary or go-behind-the-scenes of an actual production – by showing them how crypto is mined. If you have connections, you might be able to take them to one of the industrial mining operations that dot Asia, most of which are in rural China where electricity is cheap. But you’ll most likely have to show them someone who has a small-scale mining rig, often using miner’s from China’s Bitmain. The sight of miners mining crypto in someone’s living room or bedroom will explain the power of decentralization better than anything else: Cryptocurrency really does portend major changes in how currency is created and maintained. But the biggest way to ease friends into the cryptocurrency world is by demonstrating that it can be used to transact in the real world. CoinMap provides an overview of places that accept cryptocurrency, but many of these transactions are done manually and are thus clunky. A better bet is to take them to any venue that accepts crypto via a PundiXPOS, which is manufactured by the company of the same name out of Indonesia. They are currently deploying 100,000 of these devices across the world, including FAMA Group eateries in Hong Kong and even Ultra Taiwan 2018. Also read:How Pundi X plans to help Indonesians buy Bitcoin “as easy as buying a bottled water” Pundi’s XPOS devices are a strong statement in favor of cryptocurrency because of their ease of use, as they operate much like a normal credit card reader or POS terminal. Consumers just use their XPASS card at the XPOS, and then they’re free to use their crypto to pay for goods or services. This kind of demonstration is important for beginners, as the heart of cryptocurrency, after all, is currency. People are more likely to believe in crypto once they see its utility as a means of payment.
Is it idealistic to expect crypto enthusiasts to help along interested friends or colleagues in their social network? I hope not. The cumulative effect of patiently exposing peers to every part of the industry, from mining, purchasing crypto, and even transacting is substantial. It may win over more people to the community, combat the negativity that our online community often tends to exhibit, and ultimately add value to your own digital currencies as more people adopt and use them. The act of patiently introducing friends to crypto may be one situation, then, where the saying “pay it forward” make take on a literal meaning. full article: https://sg.news.yahoo.com/call-end-gatekeeping-asia-crypto-community-072239662.html
Just got Banned for the bitcoin subreddit - we are winning
This was the post near the top of the bitcoin sub:
"The rich don't need Bitcoin. The poor do. I already can transfer millions instantly. The poor cannot even send their money slowly right now. It can be $40 for someone without a bank account in the Philippines to send remittance to their family when they earn a $100 a month. That is disgusting."
Someone had replied (in part) (full text is gone now):
FFS! Use litecoin for fast, small money transfers...
And I made a sarcastic comment:
It is almost like Satoshi himself is speaking /s
The the comment I replied to was deleted and all the other replies were deleted too and I got banned for being a "brigading troll" I almost never post on that subreddit - I thought my remark about Satoshi might make them stop and think how far away they are from the original vision. I don't understand how what I said is "brigading"? And since when is an occasional thought provoking post trolling? There are hundreds of users there who could refute my point if they had a valid counter argument but no one did. Seemed to be getting upvotes before I got banned. This is just outright crazy. How can it be called a forum if you can't make a counter point? It is a disgrace and I don't understand why this is being enabled. They are scared, they are cowards.

We need to take a moment and look back at how far we have come as an industry in the last few years -- We have come a long, long way.
When I personally discovered Bitcoin, it was about $10-$15, and was just a joke to most people. I did not pay much attention to it until October 2013 when it started its run fro $100 to $1000. Even then, the term "ponzi scheme" and "tulips" were almost always attached to "Bitcoin". Bitcoin was a joke to most "economists" and "experts" like Professor Bitcorn and Joe Weisenthal. When a Subway store started to unofficially accept Bitcoin as payment, it was a big deal to the community. Still, very few paid attention, and whenever Bitcoin was mentioned in media, it was almost always negative. Fast forward to today -- In the upcoming 2016 Philippine International Banking Convention, our Bitcoin/Fintech startup has been invited to talk about Bitcoin and Blockchain. It feels a bit surreal, given that banks didn't even want, or were scared, to work with us just 18 months ago. Yet in just the last 18-24 months, this has actually been becoming the norm. Locally, I myself have been on national TV talking about Bitcoin at least four times, the last of which was on Bloomberg TV. Radio, print, and every other media format have also featured us and other industry players to further educate the public about this technology. I can't even count how many schools and organizations have had us come over and talk about Bitcoin. We have even talked and presented in Money Transfer Conventions outside the Philippines. More importantly, financial institutions have come to us to consult about Blockchain tech and Bitcoin and how it can help them prepare for the future. Almost all the big banks here in the Philippines are talking about it, trying to understand it, and want to know how it can be useful to them. My most recent favorite moment was when I finished explaining Bitcoin to the head of compliance of a top bank in the Philippines and he had this "eureka" moment -- he said something like "Wow, you guys are going to be huge one day... I better buy some Bitcoins for myself." Some of the topics in this upcoming convention are "The potentials of blockchain technology for cash management and trade finance" and "Bitcoin applications, Blockchain, and distributed ledgers". That's pretty awesome if you ask me! Note that there is not even a whisper of "tulips" anywhere, and that the finance industry has turned on its head and are now seeing what most of us here has known all along -- Bitcoin is here to stay, and it is here to change things.
